Australia’s first First Nations-owned retail energy provider has begun operating in Victoria

Yurringa Energy, established in 2018, is Australia’s first First Nations-owned and operated retail energy provider.

Specialising in supplying energy to the commercial and industrial markets, Yurringa Energy has secured the energy supply contract to supply 100% renewable power for the construction of the North East Link tunnels.

This project, in partnership with Alinta Energy, will create employment and training opportunities for Indigenous people in the growing renewable energy sector. This will drive the company’s long-term sustainability.

Yurringa Energy will be powering the North East Link.
