1. Gippsland by the coast – Melbourne to Mallacoota

Estimated driving time: 6 hours | Distance: 514 kilometres

This Easter, your electric car can take you into the far reaches of east Gippsland. There are a number of convenient charging stations along the Princes Highway where you can rest and recharge.

When you arrive in Mallacoota, there is a charging station at the Croajingolong Centre on Greer Street. Reflective of the town’s vibrant arts scene, the electric vehicle charging station features a painting of a Mallacoota gum by local artist Libby Greig.

Driving the scenic Great Ocean Road is a must-do for every Victorian, and what better way to take in the sights than in your EV.

There are a number of convenient charging stations along the Great Ocean Road, including at the beautiful coastal towns of Lorne, Apollo Bay, Warrnambool and Portland.

3. Gateway to Wilsons Prom – Melbourne to South Gippsland

This Easter, you could drive your EV to the southern-most tip of mainland Australia, Wilsons Promontory National Park, on one full charge from Melbourne.

However, if you do want to stop and recharge, there are a number of charging stations at beautiful South Gippsland locations on your way to the Prom.

The quaint town of Fish Creek is a great place to recharge, just a one-hour drive from Wilsons Promontory National Park.

You could be enjoying the beautiful autumn colours of Bright this Easter, with great food and wine destinations and places to stop and recharge along the way.

On your way to Bright, you can stop and recharge at the picturesque towns of Euroa, Benalla and Beechworth.
